This course is intended for individuals working in clinical flow cytometry ranging from technologists and supervisors to trainees and pathologists.
The first part of the course is designed to broaden the participant’s understanding of what it takes to successfully complete an instrument or assay validation. Topics covered will include basic panel design, components of a validation, successful execution of a validation plan.
The second part of the course will focus on quality improvements in a flow lab. Topics will include components of a quality management system, how to identify areas of improvement and successfully implement a process improvement.
The course will begin with the release of pre-recorded didactic lectures. There will then be a live case study discussion with the course faculty one week following the release of the didactic lectures. Our experienced and world-renowned faculty bring experience from a variety of clinical, academic, and commercial laboratory settings.
