Community & Growth Committee (CGC)

Mission statement The Community & Growth Committee (CGC) works to advance universal opportunity across the field of clinical cytometry by addressing cytometry-related roadblocks, supporting all stakeholders of the clinical cytometry laboratory, and fostering pathways for leadership, visibility, and professional development. We work in alignment with the mission of ICCS to cultivate a diverse, engaged, and globally connected cytometry community. Through data-informed strategies, collaborative programming, and mentorship, the committee promotes a culture of accountability, belonging, and sustained growth for all members.

Objectives
  • Champion Across Identities: Advance and support all professionals in clinical cytometry through programming, mentorship, and advocacy that address identity-based needs in the clinical cytometry laboratory setting.

  • Build and Illuminate Pathways: Develop and communicate clear, transparent pathways for leadership, mentorship, authorship, speaking opportunities, committee service, and professional growth within ICCS and the broader cytometry community.
  • Educate for Impact: Deliver education and training initiatives tailored to the needs of ICCS members.
